About the course
This course covers central questions, theories and methods within psycholinguistic research on multilingualism. The focus is on how language is acquired and processed in the brain and on how this is influenced by different internal and external factors. Additionally, the course deals with the relationship between multilingualism and thought, and whether multilingualism has cognitive advantages and if so, how.
