Outline for distance course: The course is IT-based and taught via the university’s learning platform Studium and the video platform Zoom. The student needs access to a computer with speakers, microphone, and broadband connection to follow the course.

About the course
The course provides an introduction to the early and modern political history of the Turkic peoples, as well as a review of the cultural, social and economic conditions of the regions. In addition, a basic introduction to the methodology of historical studies is given. The course also includes training in writing coherent academic text and critical thinking.
