About the Subject
At the Department of Theology, you can study a wide range of subjects. For example, we offer courses focusing on historical studies, hermeneutics, and philosophical, psychological or ethical questions of relevance in relation to religion, ideologies and views of life.
The Study of Religion A is an opening course (30 credits), which introduces various areas within the field of religious studies. With The Study of Religion A as a foundation, you can take courses at B and C level. At these levels, there is a specialization in one or more of the areas of Religious History and Religious Studies, Biblical Studies, Church and Mission Studies, and Faith and Ideologies. It is also possible to study special courses, for example courses focusing on different professions.
At the advanced level, there are courses in all of our subject areas and research subjects. Here you will have the opportunity to deepen and specialize your knowledge since we offer a wide and stimulating range of courses.
