External scholarship opportunities

Along with scholarships awarded by Uppsala University, it may be possible for fee-paying prospective international students to apply for financial assistance from external organisations.

These scholarships have different application systems, deadlines and criteria to those awarded by Uppsala University. They are not managed by Uppsala University. If you have any questions about the scholarships, please contact the specific organisations directly.

Swedish Institute Scholarships

The Swedish Institute (SI), a Swedish governmental agency, offers fully-funded scholarships each year for international students from a selection of countries coming to Sweden to study at the Master’s level. Check more information about the Swedish Institute scholarships and how to apply. 

They also keep a list of other scholarships available for different nationalities. 

Rotary World Peace Fellowship
