12.15 Gustavianum’s historical collections – Theme Archaeology

Archaeological treasures between swords and mummies. Gustavianum’s collections tell the story of Sweden’s and the world’s cultural history through objects from near and far.

13.00 The Museum of Evolution – Zoology

The museum’s exhibitions feature countless animals, but the storage rooms contain the real treasures: thousands of beetles, unique Linnaean animals and more or less well-taxidermied objects.

13.45 Gustavianums historical collections – Theme Archaeology

Archaeological treasures between swords and mummies. Gustavianum’s collections tell the story of Sweden’s and the world’s cultural history through objects from near and far.

14.00 The Museum of Evolution – Botany

In a building that is usually never open to the public is our herbarium. See our collection rooms, Joachim Burser’s Hortus siccus and Queen Lovisa Ulrika’s botanical volumes.

14.15 The Museum of Evolution – Palaeontology

Ever wondered why the largest collection of dinosaur fossils in the Nordics is in Uppsala? And what other extinct animals do we have in storage? You’ll get the answers during our fossil tour.

14.45 The Botanical Garden’s cultivation greenhouses

Put your hands in the soil, learn about seeds and cultivation, and see how we work to create a biodiverse garden. Join the gardener in the workshop and greenhouse.
