Halftime seminar: Gubb Marit Stigson, Gotland’s sustainable energy system transition: Planning
This research project focuses on social sustainability in energy transitions. By combining the energy justice concept with sociotechnical imaginaries (STIs), and place and place imaginaries, the aim is to critically examine current and future plans for energy transition across scale. For the halftime seminar, a review article of the ‘collective’ in the STIs concept has been conducted, and a second article focuses on integrating STIs with place imaginaries to understand how Gotland as a place creates a sense of collectivity and co-produces Gotland’s energy STIs.
