Four years have passed since Uppsala University Graduate School in Sustainability Studies (GRASS) came into being.

During this time, we have built a foundation for sustainability-focused research projects on Gotland, formed relationships and developed the capacity for our transformative research to take place.

With this celebration, we would like to extend our gratitude to all of you who have been involved in this journey. During this celebration you will have the opportunity to engage in a more informal way with the different projects, and hopefully join together in belief of a better future.

The mission of the University's Graduate School in Sustainability Studies is to conduct research on key social challenges including changed energy systems, sustainable consumption and destinations development. Here, 12 PhD students at 8 institutions are collaborating in 5 unique research projects.
