The University Library invites you to a lecture by Kristen Clark, Postdoctoral Researcher at the Department of Medical Sciences; Clinical Psychiatry.
When care requires resistance: Trans experiences inside medical systems.
Resistance has long been part of how transgender and gender diverse people survive within medical systems. This talk will discuss historical experiences in conversation with contemporary research to show how care itself can demand resistance and what that means for transgender and gender-diverse people today.
