Teaching at University of Tunis El Manar

In November 2025, Forum's Prof. Sten Hagberg effectuated a one week teaching mobility at the Institut Supérieur des Sciences Humaines de Tunis (ISSHT) - or "Ibn Charaf" as it is locally referred to - of the University of Tunis El Manar. Hagberg gave lectures at the master programmes of Anthropology and of Migration Studies. He also attended a Solidarity-Action Day with Sub-Saharan Migrants organized by staff and students at the ISSHT.

The mobility was hosted by the Internationalization Coordinator Prof. Samira Mechri, English Dept., ISSHT. Sten Hagberg lectured at the master class of Prof. Imed Melliti, Dept. of Anthropology, the ISSHT, and he also had the opportunity to meet with Fellow Anthropologist Dr. Khaoula Matri, Université de Sousse.
