CoRE FE4H welcomes an intern from Croatia
Josipa Juricevic, a master student from Zaghreb studying Nutrition at the Faculty of Food Technology and Biotechnology of Zagreb University, recently undertook a three month internship with the Guild-ARUA Cluster of Research Excellence Food Environment Actions for the Promotion of Health – Healthier People, Stronger Communities: Innovating Food Environments (CoRE FE4H). The Master programme focuses on nutrition science, public health, and the practical application of nutritional research. The mobility was facilitated through Erasmus funds.
Josipa states: My internship in Uppsala was a valuable experience, as I gained a lot of practical knowledge, saw how work in the academy looks in real life, and picked up some new useful skills along the way. I also met many lovely people who made the whole stay even better. Uppsala had a friendly and cosy atmosphere that made this time enjoyable and rewarding both professionally and personally.
The CoRE FE4H continues to work closely with young scholars through a range of activities aimed at building a strong and connected network of researchers focused on food environments and health equity.
