2026 SANORD conference

The Southern African–Nordic Centre (SANORD) will host its upcoming annual conference in Windhoek, Namibia, from 22–25 September 2026, bringing together scholars, researchers, and partners from across the Nordic and Southern African regions. the theme for the conference this year is Reimagining Kowledge for shared development.

The conference will take place at the Windhoek Country Club Resort, Windhoek, Namibia. The Call for Abstracts is now open, submission deadline: 10 April 2026.

Researchers at all career stages—including early career scholars and doctoral candidates—are encouraged to participate. The conference provides a unique opportunity to present ongoing research, engage in cross-regional dialogue, and strengthen institutional networks.
