Forum in the 2nd Africa-Europe Clusters of Research Excellence (CoRE) Conference in Glasgow

Research coordinators Jecinta Okumu and Kajsa Hallberg Adu joined the Uppsala University co-lead clusters of research excellence for a conference at the 575-year-old University of Glasgow.

The conference gathered 250 academics, support staff and university leaders from more than 120 institutions across 44 countries. Organisations represented are either part of The Guild or its sister organisation the African Research Universities Alliance (ARUA). Uppsala University Vice Chancellor Anders Hagfelt is the Chair of the Guild and opened the conference together with his ARUA colleague.
