Version control is an essential tool for developers, helping track changes, collaborate efficiently, and avoid losing work. This beginner-friendly workshop introduces participants to Git, the most widely used version control system, and GitHub, a platform for hosting and sharing code.
Through hands-on exercises, attendees will learn how to set up Git, manage file changes, create commits, and work with remote repositories. We'll also cover basic fundamental collaboration workflows, including branching and merging. By the end of the session, participants will feel confident using Git to manage their projects and contribute to team-based development.
This workshop is designed for beginners with little to no experience in version control.
