Introduction to Geographic Information Systems (Vasiliki Tsoumari)

This workshop offers an introduction to Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and hands-on experience with the open-source software QGIS. Participants will gain an understanding of fundamental GIS concepts, explore potential research applications in the humanities and social sciences, and practice building their own GIS project and export the results in maps. The workshop is given in collaboration with InfraVis.
