Visit from the Vietnam Women's Union
The Centre for Gender Research had a visit from the Vietnam Women's Union for two weeks at the end of September.
The group of 23 people were here to take part in a study programme on gender equality promotion and effective social works implementation in Sweden. Anneli Häyrén, researcher at the Centre with an expertise on gender equality and sexual harassment in the workplace, had a central role in the programme.
The programme also had contributors from the Division of Contract Education, Department of Economic History, the County Council, Department of Government, Department of Business Studies, Department of Social and Economic Geography, National Centre for Knowledge on Men's Violence Against Women (NCK), Uppsala Women's Shelter, HeraHub, and the Department of Law.
