Sanja Nivesjö on interracial love in South African literature 1900-1950
Sanja Nivesjö is Associate Senior Lecturer at the Centre for Gender Research. In her current project she’s examining how interracial love has been portrayed in South African literature before apartheid, from 1900 to 1950. Her research provides a historical context for the portrayal of interracial relationships in South African literature and how this connects to colonialism and the historical development of the country.
