Congratulations! What will you do as a Fulbright Scholar at the Centre for Gender Research?
–I will be studying Sweden's approach to medication abortion and patient-provider communication in reproductive health settings. This will be in collaboration with the Centre for Gender Research, Uppsala University Hospital, Karolinska Institutet's WHO Collaborating Centre in the Department of Women and Children's Health. I will also teach a PhD course, Reproductive Justice in Global Contexts, at the Centre and serve an advisory role for shaping reproductive justice conversations at the Public Health Agency of Sweden. During my Fulbright time in Uppsala I will use these experiences to help shape the study abroad course I teach for Augustana College: Whole Person Health in Scandinavia.
