Abstract: I will explain how to access certain Whittaker vectors for W-algebras via topological recursion. They are relevant (via AGT) for the instanton counting in N = 2 supersymmetric gauge theories. Based on joint works with Bouchard, Chidambaram, Creutzig, Noshchenko, Umer.
