Seminar on health data research

Centre for Health Economic Research invites you to a seminar on Health Data Research. During the seminar we will inform about the centre and provide an overview of health data sources and health data research at the Faculty of Social Sciences.

Health is an important and valuable asset, both for the individual and for society at large. The Centre for Health Economic Research at Uppsala University (HEFUU) is a new interdisciplinary research centre that studies health from a health economic perspective. At HEFUU, we combine complementary competencies at the university to increase knowledge of questions around efficient and equitable use of resources and access to health.

HEFUU is an interdisciplinary venue for researchers interested in health economics broadly, coming both from social sciences and the medical faculty. Our vision is to create a competitive research environment and a national competence centre around register data-base medical and health economic evaluation, and methods for pricing and reimbursement in healthcare.
