  • Lecturer: Andrew Briggs is Professor of Health Economics at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine. He is a leading researcher in the field of economic evaluation with a focus on statistical methods for cost-effectiveness analysis. He is the author of the CHEERS statement on reporting standards for economic evaluation and has written the two successful textbooks Decision Modelling for Health Economic Evaluation and Statistical Methods for Cost-Effectiveness Analysis.

The Centre for Health Economic Research at Uppsala University (HEFUU) invites researchers, doctoral students, and others interested in health economics to a course with Professor Andrew Briggs covering state-of-the-art modelling techniques for economic evaluation. Andrew Briggs is Professor of Health Economics at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine. 

The course is titled "The State of Health Economic Modelling: Integrating statistical and decision modelling for better reimbursement decision making." The course aims to discuss the latest developments in modelling techniques to support health economic evaluation. The course will also signpost resources for those wishing to develop their modelling skills.
