Title: The risk for a new COVID-19 wave - and how it depends on R_0, the current immunity level and current restrictions
Abstract: We analyse a simple mathematical model for the spread of covid-19 which allows for heterogeneities with respect to age, social activity, susceptibility and infectivity. In the talk we investigate the minimal effect of preventive measures needed to avoid a new epidemic wave of Covid-19. In particular we investigate how it depends on the initial basic reproduction number $R_0$ and the current immunity level $\hat i$. Joint work with Frank Ball and Pieter Trapman.
