The activities are coordinated by Professor Patrick Weke, Department of Mathematics, University of Nairobi, Kenya.
ISP has supported the network since its formation in 2018.
Objectives
The main objective of APREA is to form a sustainable statistical research group whose focus is in solving health, economic and environmental issues using applied probability theories which eventually will contribute significantly towards poverty reduction.
The group organises bi-weekly virtual seminars and our future plans include joint scientific workshops, collaborative research and joint publications.
