New research school in Medical Humanities
We are pleased to announce that the Centre for Medical Humanities will initiate a research school in medical humanities. This new venture has received strategic funding from the vice-chancellor, and the recruiting of PhD-students will start during 2022. The research school will include five PhD students from the Disciplinary Domains of Humanities and Social science and Medicine and Pharmacy. Their salaries will be co-funded by the Centre for Medical Humanities. The call for Co-funding announced in December 2021. Eligible applicants are interdisciplinary supervisory teams with one supervisor active at each disciplinary domain at Uppsala University.
The Centre for Medical Humanities organizes a meeting to give further information about the research school, and give opportunities to interested parties to find possible collaborators. The meeting will take place on the 1st of December at 13.15-15.00 at Engelska Parken Campus, room 22-0031 (right by Humanistiska teatern). Snacks will be served. We ask you to register at the link below, no later than the 23rd of November. See also the Calender event.
