Publishing interdisciplinary research: PhD course on interdisciplinary publishing

In the spring of 2024, the Centre for Medical Humanities is organizing a PhD course titled "Publishing interdisciplinary research". The course is 3 credits and is aimed at doctoral students in biomedicine, health, humanities and social sciences, with interdisciplinary projects, and who want to achieve visibility for their research beyond their own discipline. The focus of the course is on the specific challenges to make visible and reach out with interdisciplinary research. The course deals with the academic publishing system, how publication traditions vary between scientific areas and disciplines, and what implications this has for information search and publication strategy in interdisciplinary research.

Scheduled time for the course is three full days (Preliminary schedule: 15 March, 22 March and 26 April).
