From Hungary to Uppsala: Zsófia Tóth on her Internship at CMH

During the autumn semester of 2025, CMH has hosted an intern through the Erasmus+ program. Zsófia Tóth from Hungary has a background in aesthetics, philosophy, and psychology and recently completed her master’s thesis in clinical psychology. As an intern, she has contributed to two research projects: Mental health in time and space, focusing on young women’s experiences and understanding of mental health issues, and another project on artist-in-residence programs in academic settings. Through her work on these projects, she has gained valuable insight into ongoing research on both themes and experience in conducting and applying literature reviews across different fields. Zsófi has also been responsible for our social media.

“I feel very fortunate to have found CMH as my internship placement, as it has provided me with many valuable opportunities. Working here has allowed me to experience university life not only as a student but also as a colleague, getting to know staff members and different departments, and gaining extensive knowledge through the projects I have been involved in. I have also had the opportunity to present my thesis at seminars and have always encountered an open and genuinely interested community. In addition, I’ve had the chance to get to know Uppsala and its surroundings, discovering a vibrant university town full of opportunities for those who seek them.”
