Arramat Káffidit - coffee talks series presents: "Throwing a Lasso into the Future: Eveny reindeer herders’ lasso-making in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia)", with PhD Anastasia Ulturgasheva,Uppsala University. Initial comments by Elle Eriksson, PhD student at SLU, Umeå. Thereafter open discussion on the theme of decolonization of science and educatin.
The Arramat Global Transformation Pathway 5 (T5) Decolonizing Science and Education aims to build a network and create a space to address the challenges and opportunities for Indigenous-led science, technology, and society research and education.
Within this framework, we are organizing "Káffidit" - Lule Sámi for making and drinking coffee and talking together - a series of relaxed online sessions where you can join and share your thoughts/ideas/ story/work/project/ within the theme of Decolonizing Science and Education.
