Research and Development at NCK
Current and previous research projects at the National Centre for Knowledge on Men's Violence Against Women, Uppsala University.
A number of different research projects are ongoing at NCK. In addition to conducting our own research, we review and analyse research and experience-based knowledge in the field of men's violence against women and domestic violence and abuse, and identify the need for new research and method development. We collect, process and disseminate knowledge from reserchers and professionals in the field.
Furthermore, research at NCK is carried out in close collaboration with our clinic for women victims of gender-based violence, with the aim of increasing our knowledge base, and developing new scientifically based methods for the treatment and care of women subjected to violence.
