LGBTQI people's exposure to Intimate Partner Violence

The project is part of a government comission to map violence against LGBTQI people in intimate relationships. It is conducted in collaboration with the Swedish Gender Equality Agency and the The Public Health Agency of Sweden. NCK (the National Centre for Knowledge on Men's Violence Against Women) contributes, among other things, with a research and knowledge overview focusing on international and national studies on help-seeking and support.

The aim of the research and knowledge overview is to compile and analyze existing research and knowledge regarding help-seeking and support measures for LGBTQI people who have been subjected to intimate partner violence. The overview is based on a scoping literature review and an analysis of international and national studies and reports that have examined LGBTQI people's help-seeking behavior, support needs, and the experiences of support organizations in responding to LGBTQI people subjected to or who have been subjected to intimate partner violence.
