Research on post-separation abuse and health consequences

The research project "Post-Separation Abuse and Health Consequences" examines women's experiences of post-separation abuse and how responses from professional networks, such as the legal system, social services and health care, may have counteracted or reinforced post-separation abuse.

The research project also examines the consequences of post-separation abuse for women and their children, in terms of health, safety, social context and finances.

The project is an interview study with women who have been subjected to or live with various forms of post-separation abuse.
