Call for nominations for "Årets Ljushuvud-priset"
The Center for Photon Science at Uppsala University awards the "Uppsala Photon Science Award", which we colloquially call the "Lighthead of the Year Award", to reward doctoral theses with particularly innovative use, development of photon science or particularly outstanding research results with photon science methods. Candidates for "The Head of Light of the Year" are recent PhDs from Uppsala University who completed their dissertation during the previous calendar year; for the 2021 award, the dissertation must have taken place during 2020.
