Dr Warchavchik Hugerth is an Assistant Professor at IMBIM, the Department of Medical Biochemistry and Microbiology at Uppsala University. Her work centers on microbiome in women's health, trying to understand the forces governing these complicated ecosystems and how they, in turn, affect our health.

Webinar description: Each of us has hundreds of different bacterial species in our guts, from a set of thousands of possible symbionts. Anything that passes through our mouths passes through our guts, and has to deal with its local population. In this seminar, we'll have an overview of antagonistic and synergistic effects between our bugs and our drugs.
