Record-breaking interest in SweDeliver summer internships

In summer 2025, SweDeliver is offering master's students from all over Europe the opportunity to do a six-week internship within the center's industrial network. As this year's application window closed, the opportunity to experience research at the frontline had attracted a record number of applicants.
“We have received nearly 80 applications that are consistently of a very high quality. Several of the CVs that we have reviewed so far contain a wide range of experience from both higher education and professional life. We will soon contact a number of students for interviews and matching within our partner network, where the selected interns will engage in ongoing research projects,” says Caroline Fronczak Alvebratt, Project coordinator at SweDeliver.

A SweDeliver summer internship means that the students are expected to be committed, up for hard work and to absorb the latest knowledge in modern drug delivery. In return, they receive a full salary, industrial experience and opportunities to make important contacts. It is an opportunity that attracts interest far beyond Europe's borders with numerous inquiries coming from Asia.
“Our ambition for SweDeliver is to become a world leader in drug delivery. A key factor is to attract, train and keep the leading researchers of the future. The fact that students who are still at master's level are willing to travel all the way to Europe and Sweden is proof that we are moving in the right direction and, above all, that we have come a long way,” states Christel Bergström, Center Director at SweDeliver.
