Erik Olsson presented at seminar about digital services in healthcare

Associate professor Erik Olsson recently presented at the seminar ’Digital Services that simplify everyday care’ at Åland University of Applied Sciences. Erik gave a seminar about the course ’Innovation Game’ and how game design can be used to promote innovative solutions within healthcare. Associate Professor Erik Olsson together with Åland's Minister of Social Affairs and Health, Annette Holmberg-Jansson, researcher Erika Boman, Ålands University, and IT assistant Liz Karlsson, Mariehamns stad.

The seminar, which began with a welcome from Åland's Minister of Social Affairs and Health, Annette Holmberg-Jansson, was focused on how digital solutions can improve healthcare and bring it closer to the patient. The programme included, among other things, presentations on digital competence for healthcare professionals and welfare technology.
