Earlier this year, Erik received a financial grant of SEK 250,000 from Riksförbundet HjärtLung to carry out the project. The aim is to investigate the differences between patients who are 55 years or younger and patients who are older, in terms of the connection between psychosocial stress and the risk of experiencing a heart attack.
Read the article ‘How dangerous is stress for the heart in young people?’ (Swedish: ‘Hur farligt är stressen för hjärtat hos unga?’). It is written by Jenny Damberg and published in Status nr 2/2023, which was released in April.
