This year, the conference had the theme "From Local to Global: Behavior, Climate, and Health." Alongside Mirela Habibovic from Tilburg University in the Netherlands, Peter Johansson from Linköping University, and Kenneth Freedland from Washington University in the USA, Erik and Philip presented a symposium titled "Anxiety in cardiovascular disease."
Philip enjoyed the opportunity to meet his international colleagues and listen to lectures on the future of behavioral medicine.
– It was very interesting to attend ICBM and present as part of our symposium, says Philip. We managed to highlight several epidemiological aspects and clinical implications. This led to interesting discussions and potential future research questions!
