Systemutvecklare Arash Dowlatyar Roomiani

System developer Arash Dowlatyar Roomiani will work with the development of the new U-CARE Platform, focusing on front-end development.

Welcome to U-CARE and the research group Healthcare Sciences and e-Health, Arash Dowlatyar Roomiani! Arash will work as a system developer focusing on the new version of the U-CARE Platform.

Front-end developer

Arash Dowlatyar Roomiani has a background as a system developer at Svenska Spel, where he worked as a front-end developer a bit over three years. Before that, he studied a Bachelor's degree in systems science at Uppsala University.

The position as a system developer means that Arash is returning to his former university.

– It's fun to be back, but with a new purpose, says Arash. I’ve had a good start in my new role and it feels extra good to be able to do something that contributes to society. I also like to be involved in building something almost from scratch.

Family, exercise, and video games

In his spare time, Arash enjoys playing video games.

Arash spends most of his time outside of work with his wife Cherie and their two children Ariana, 9 years old, and Kiara, 5 years old. When he has time and energy, he enjoys exercising, both going to the gym and practice martial arts. Video games are also a big interest, including the role-playing game Elden Ring.

– Elden Ring is a role-playing game in a fantasy setting. You can choose to play as different character classes and develop your skills to defeat enemies. I just got 100% of the achievements in the game, which took me many hours, Arash laughs.
