Karin Enskär appointed as a new member of U-CARE executive committee

Karin Enskär is a clinical Professor of Paediatric Nursing at the Department of Women's and Children's Health, Uppsala University, combined with an employment as a Specialist Nurse at Uppsala University Hospital. Her research focuses on nursing care for children with cancer, stress management and pain during medical interventions, support for children with a sick parent, and nursing care within child and school health care.

Karin Enskär is well acquainted with U-CARE and has previously been a member of U-CARE's steering committee. As a new member of the executive committee, she will, together with the other members, contribute to strengthening the collaboration between different research areas and work to achieve U-CARE's goals and vision. She was appointed in a by-election and will be a member of the committee until 2026-12-04.
