U-CARE Venue 2024 – Thanks to everyone who attended!

The two-day event was packed with insightful presentations, a symposium and engaging discussions on the theme 'When research meets reality - Optimizing for successful implementation of complex interventions in diverse settings'.

Among this year's U-CARE Venue participants was Ida Österman Menander, who is happy for attending the conference and gaining deeper insights into the implementation of complex interventions.
– Above all, what I take with me from this year's U-CARE Venue is the importance of thinking about implementation early in a research project. Today, many interventions get stuck in the development stage and unfortunately never reach the target group.
She appreciates that there was such a wide range of speakers who all contributed with their perspectives on the theme.

– I particularly appreciated learning more about the ‘Kraftens hus’, as an example of a successful implementation. It was also exciting to hear about how pragmatic trials work and how they differ from randomised controlled trials. Maybe I will make use of it in the future.
