Grant awarded by Forte for U-CARE Venue 2025

A big congratulations to Joanne Woodford, who has been awarded a grant of SEK 299,900 from Forte to organise the scientific conference U-CARE Venue 2025!

The conference will take place on 13-14 October in Uppsala and will focus on innovative ways to improve the efficiency of healthcare research.
We’re excited to share that several prominent speakers have already been confirmed. Among the speakers is researcher Benjamin Speich, who works on the development, evaluation, and implementation of new clinical trials. Another invited speaker is Shaun Treweek, guest professor at U-CARE. He leads a research initiative aimed at developing a more systematic approach to generating and using research evidence on the design, conduct, analysis, and reporting of clinical trials.
