Tommy Carlsson receives grant from Forte!

The research project is about co-creating and evaluating a scalable low-intensity peer support intervention for women with experiences of forced migration and mental ill-health. An important aspect of the project is that two public contributors will be involved as regular research team members and there will be an advisory board of eight forced migrant women with lived experience of mental ill-health.

Tommy Carlsson is the principal investigator for the project and the following researchers are co-applicants: Louise von Essen, Maria Gottvall, Elisabet Mattsson, Mattias Strand, Petter Tinghög, and Joanne Woodford.

The grant from Forte is for the period 2025-2029.
