Congratulations to U-CARE’s researcher Joanne Woodford who has been appointed as a docent in Caring Sciences at Uppsala University!
Joanne Woodford conducts research focusing on people living with physical health conditions and their informal caregivers. Her work includes developing and evaluating psychological interventions, as well as promoting public contribution in research.
– I’m happy and honoured to be appointed as a docent in Caring Sciences. This recognition reflects the collaborative efforts of colleagues, research participants, and public contributors who make this work possible, says Docent Joanne Woodford.
The decision to appoint Joanne Woodford as a docent was made by the Disciplinary Domain Board of Medicine and Pharmacy on 18 June 2025.
