Eva Bei joins U-CARE during her Marie Skłodowska-Curie secondment

Dr Eva Bei will undertake a Marie Skłodowska-Curie secondment at U-CARE in spring 2026.
In spring 2026, U-CARE will host Dr Eva Bei, who has been awarded the prestigious two-year Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Postdoctoral Fellowship for her project entitled ‘MediaCare: Empowering Caregivers of Children with Neurodevelopmental Disorders through Media Literacy’. As part of this fellowship, she will spend a secondment period with our research group.
Application for caregivers of children with NDD
Eva Bei’s postdoctoral position is based at the University of Florence, Department of Education, Languages, Interculture, Literatures and Psychology, where she is conducting a project with the aim to develop an application that raises awareness about media disinformation on neurodevelopmental disorders (NDD). The app is aimed at caregivers of children with NDDs. Eva is looking forward to exchange knowledge and collaborate with our researchers, during her stay at U-CARE.
‘A perfect match’
– I wanted to do my secondment at U-CARE because of your expertise in developing mental health interventions and caregiving research. It was a perfect match for me, says Eva Bei.
One area she is especially interested to learn more about is usability testing.
– I also look forward to sharing some of my own knowledge. For example, I‘d like to give a presentation on how to write a successful grant application.
Looking forward to Uppsala
Eva Bei has previously visited Stockholm for an international conference, but she has never been to Uppsala.
– I’m really looking forward to visiting Uppsala and meeting everyone in the U-CARE research group, she says.
We are excited to welcome you next year, Eva!
