U-CARE researcher Frida Svedin has been interviewed by the popular scientific magazine Äldre i centrum about her PhD project on developing and adapting the support programme INVOLVERA, for people living with dementia who also experience depression.

The support programme is aimed at helping people with dementia become more active in everyday life through meaningful, individually tailored activities. The programme was developed as part of her PhD research and adapted for use in real-world care settings.

Svedin also highlights challenges related to implementation, such as limited resources in care settings, and emphasises the importance of flexible and accessible psychological support that fits into everyday life for both individuals with dementia and their loved ones.
