Last Friday was Julia Müller’s last day as an intern at the research group CIRCLE – Complex Intervention Research in Health and Care. Julia joined our research group in November 2025 as part of her Bachelor’s studies in Psychology at Ulm University in Germany.

During her internship, Julia Müller has been involved in the CHANGE-pilot within the ParentsCan project (principal investigator: Louise von Essen). She worked on developing standard operating procedures for CHANGE-pilot and conducted a literature search on physical activity support programmes for parents of children who have been treated for cancer.

– I worked with a standard operating procedures to make sure that all trial procedures were easy to understand for new project members, Julia says.

Julia also took part in Writing Club and Journal Club and presented her work to the CHANGE-pilot research team. She highlights the supportive research environment at CIRCLE:

– Everyone has been really nice to me, which made me feel very comfortable right from the start. Overall, it has been a great experience, and I’m very happy that I got this opportunity, she says.

We would like to thank Julia for her valuable contributions and wish her all the best in her future studies and career!
