The U-CARE Platform for web-based clinical research
About the project
The rapid advancement of digital technology presents a significant opportunity to revolutionize digital healthcare research. Existing platforms often fall short in meeting the diverse needs of researchers and study participants, limiting their effectiveness in supporting a range of study designs, collection of different data, delivery of different interventions while ensuring robust privacy, security, and compliance with ethical standards.
This project aims to develop the U-CARE Platform, a digital platform tailored for web-based clinical research. Through transdisciplinary collaborations integrating clinical expertise with the latest technological advancements, important features to enable online consent, randomization, collection of different types of data, and delivery of different types of interventions, are developed. The platform supports de-centralised clinical research and enables important advancements in clinical research.
