Registration is now open for the UPPMAX Introductory Course and the Awk Workshop to be held in January 2018. These courses are very popular, reserve a place now!
The UPPMAX Introductory Course (Link removed) is 4 days, on January 15-18, and you can choose to go to the parts that are most relevant to you. The course provides an overview of how the UPPMAX systems work and covers skills from basic Linux usage to advanced tips and tricks, including Python scripting. Click the link for more info.
The Awk Workshop (Link removed) is one day, January 19th. The purpose of this workshop is to give an overview of the capabilities of the awk language and to promote the awk tool for use in every-day’s research work, urging you to find solutions yourself rather than expecting ready-made ones. Some basic knowledge of Linux, bash and some simple tools like grep and sed is required.
