Rackham's last autumn

On the last day of 2024, Rackham will be shut down.

The system will not be replaced by NAISS. All users on Rackham must evaluate their need for compute and storage capacity and find a solution.

UU users:

Uppsala University has invested in a new computer called Pelle (after Pelle Svanslös). UU researchers will, in other words, be able to continue using UPPMAX resources much like today. During the autumn, we will provide more information about gaining access to Pelle. It is of course also possible to continue using NAISS-financed systems, like any Swedish scientist.

Non-UU users:

We primarily recommend moving your project to Dardel at PDC, KTH. To this end, we have written instructions and hold regular Zoom sessions (every Tuesday at 11:15, Zoom ID 64896912764) to help you move.
