WOMHER lunch seminar: Parenting with Awareness and Compassion

This seminar focuses on the result of a stakeholder-engaged approach to adapt an intervention called Mindfulness Based Childbirth and Parenting to Swedish maternal healthcare services. Explaining the theory of change and modifications depending on level of need; as universal health-promotion, as prevention targeting at-risk groups or as treatment.

Gunilla Lönnberg is a researcher engaged in studies of parental support and mindfulness-based interventions aiming to promote the mental health of expectant parents.

WOMHER's Lunch Seminar Series
The WOMHER lunch seminar series aims to provide a platform for the exchange of knowledge and ideas among PhD students, researchers, and others interested in WOMHER’s research focus. These seminars foster interdisciplinary dialogue and collaboration across various scientific fields.

The lunch seminars are organized four times per semester, with hosting responsibilities rotating among different disciplinary domains to ensure broad representation. All seminars are held via Zoom, and the same link is used for all sessions to facilitate participation.
