Professor Lars Lind
This seminar will focus on the advancement of epidemiology in the 21st century and explore how epigenetic studies can contribute to designing personalized prevention programs.
Lars Lind is a Guest Professor at Uppsala University and an Honorary Doctor at Örebro University. In 2022, he was awarded the Linnaeus Gold Medal by Uppsala University. Lars Lind's expertise in epidemiological research, particularly large population studies, and his investigations into the role of genetics in the development of cardiovascular and metabolic diseases have been highly significant.

WOMHER's Lunch Seminar Series
The WOMHER lunch seminar series aims to provide a platform for the exchange of knowledge and ideas among PhD students, researchers, and others interested in WOMHER’s research focus. These seminars foster interdisciplinary dialogue and collaboration across various scientific fields.
The lunch seminars are organized four times per semester, with hosting responsibilities rotating among different disciplinary domains to ensure broad representation. All seminars are held via Zoom, and the same link is used for all sessions to facilitate participation.
