10 million SEK to ‘Young Women’s Mental Health’

10 million SEK is being donated to the research initiative ‘Young Women’s Mental Health’. Among other things, this gift will be used for a planned study that will observe and track at least 5000 women through life.

‘Young Women’s Mental Health’ is a cross-disciplinary research programme. The initiative is a response to the fact that mental illness is on the rise in Sweden and in other countries – especially among younger women. With the help of a private donation of 10 million SEK, ‘Young Women’s Mental Health’ will now initiate a long-term study where at least 5000 women will be observed and tracked through life, starting at 15 years of age.
